1.What is Synergy Credit Card?
It is a Personalised Classic or Gold credit Cards issued by Synergy Cards Sdn Bhd in collaboration with AmBank (M) Berhad that can be used at MasterCard or Visa merchant outlets worldwide.
2.What are the credit cards available from Synergy?
Currently you can apply the Gold or Classic Synergy+ MasterCard or Visa Credit Cards.
3.What are the rewards and conveniences of being a Synergy Credit Card member?
The Synergy Credit Cards open doors to a host of great travel, dining and shopping privileges throughout the year; Card members also have the assurance of worldwide recognition and instant access to cash. There are great promotions, privileges, features and value-added services year round.
4.How do I apply for a Gold or Classic Synergy Credit Card? You can collect a Take-One application form from our participating partner outlets, request one through our Customer Service Department. Just mail the application forms together with the required documents to Synergy Cards Sdn Bhd, Level 2, East Wing, Wisma Synergy, No.72, Persiaran Jubli Perak, Seksyen 22, 40000 Shah Alam. P.O.Box 7758 G.P.O. 40726 Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
5.What are the minimum income requirements?
To be eligible to apply for the Gold Synergy Credit Card, your minimum gross annual income must be approximately RM36,000.00 and to apply for the Classic Synergy Credit Card, your minimum gross annual income must be approximately RM24,000.00.
6.What about age requirements? The age requirement is as stipulated by regulations at 21 years of age for the principal card and 18 years of age for the supplementary card.
7.What are the documents to be submitted with my application?
The required documents would include copy of your I.C. (both sides), or copy of your passport, including that of supplementary applicants; latest B Form/BE Form with tax payment receipt or EA Form or EPF contribution statement or latest 2 months salary slips. If you are self-employed, please send in a copy of your Business Registration Certificate or Form 9/24/49 as well as 3 months’ Company bank statements.
8.What is a credit line?
It is the fund provided by the Financial Institution for you to spend using the Synergy Credit Card to pay for all your purchases. The size of a credit line is set individually after reviewing the documents submitted.
9.Can the limit on my credit line be extended?
The limit on your credit line can be extended in the future. To assist with this process, you will at that time be informed of the necessary additional documents to submit for review.
10.Joining Fees and Annual Fees:
No Joining Fee and No Annual Fee. Free For Life card with no condition for both principal and supplementary cards.
11.Conversion for Overseas Transactions:
The conversion rate is as determined by MasterCard International or Visa International plus service charge of 1.5%.
12.How many Synergy Supplementary Credit Cards can I have?
The maximum number of supplementary card you can apply is up to 5 cards. Every application is subject to Synergy for approval.
13.How can I find out about the status of my application?

14.How long does it take to receive my Synergy Credit Card?
You will receive your Synergy Credit Card within 10 business days, subject to providing us with the required documents and the completeness of required information listed on the application form. The card will be mailed to you.
15.Can I authorise someone else to collect my card if I opt for it not to be mailed out?
No. Please call our Customer Service Department at 03-5191 2229 to arrange for your card to be self-collected.
16.What should I do upon receipt of Synergy Credit Card?
Kindly contact our Customer Service Department at 03-5191 2229 to activate your Synergy Credit Card immediately upon receipt of your new card. You will not be able to use if the card has not been activated.
17.What do I do if I do not receive my monthly credit card statement of accounts?
Please call our Customer Service Department at 03-5191 2229.
18.What number do I call to report lost or stolen credit cards?
Please call our Lost & Stolen Card Reporting Hotline at 03-5191 8860 immediately to block your card. A replacement card will be issued to you upon your request.
19.What happen if my Synergy Credit Card is lost or stolen abroad? Please report immediately by calling our 24 hours hotline at 03-5191 8860. If you are overseas, you may call the nearest MasterCard or Visa Assistance Centres or their affiliates. If you fail to lodge a lost card report, you will be liable to pay for all charges incurred on your lost or stolen card.
20.Do I have to pay for a replacement card?
There is a fee of RM50.00 per card replaced in Malaysia. The card shall be replaced at Synergy Cards discretion.
21.Where can I shop with Synergy Credit Card?
You can make purchases at any merchant worldwide wherever MasterCard or Visa Credit Card is accepted.
22.Can I make online purchases over the internet with a Synergy Credit Card?
Purchases over the internet with a Synergy Credit Cards is allowed. Please call our Customer Service Department at 03-5191 2229 for assistant.
23.Is there a daily spending limit on the credit card?
The system allows for up to the entire available balance on your credit card as long as your account is in good standing.
24.Is there any fee for the Point-of-Sale transactions at merchants? No.
25.Do I get a PIN for my credit card account?
26.What if I lose or forget my PIN for the credit card?
Please call our Customer Service Department at 03-5191 2229 and request for a new PIN to be mailed out to your billing address. To reissue the PIN, your Synergy Credit Card needs to be replaced with a new card number. A Card and PIN replacement fee of RM50.00 will be imposed.
27.How can I check my account balances?
As a principal Synergy Credit Card member, you will receive a statement of your card account every month. If you have opted for a joint principal and supplementary statement, your statement will include both the principal and supplementary card member expenditure and charges with each expense is separated and identified by name and card number or you may call our Customer Service Department for your card account status.
28.How do I dispute a charge on my account statement?
Please give us written notice of any query, or dispute on billing within 14 days upon receipt of your statement, failing which the Statement Account shall be accepted as final and conclusive evidence of all charge and/or cash advance incurred.
29.How do I check my Synergy Rewards?
To check your Synergy Rewards, please refer to your monthly credit card statement or call our Customer Service Department or fax in your enquiry.
